      User Roles

      There are several possible roles for Gravity users based on their persona, required permissions, and association with a portal.

      1. Founder - has access to:
        1. Founder navigation items including the Academy, Tools, and Resources pages
      2. Mentor
        1. Has access to:
          1. Founder navigation items including the Academy, Tools, and Resources pages
          2. My Mentees table
        1. Can be assigned as a Mentor to your portal's Founders
        2. Can be added to portal by Manager or Owner, or when a Founder invites a Mentor to review their Company Profile
      2. Investor
        1. Has access to:
          1. Founder navigation items including the Academy, Tools, and Resources pages
          2. My Portfolio table
        2. Can be added to portal by Manager or Owner, or when a Founder invites an Investor to review their Company Profile
      3. Manager
        1. Has access to:
          1. Founder navigation items including the Academy, Tools, and Resources pages
          2. Members table
          3. Portal Settings
          4. Portal Analytics
        2. The only portal functions a Manager cannot perform, is changing the portal Owner or setting up/managing the portal's revenue sharing account.
      4. Owner
        1. Has access to:
          1. Founder navigation items including the Academy, Tools, and Resources pages
          2. Members table
          3. Portal Settings
          4. Portal Analytics
        2. Only the Owner can re-assign the Owner role.  
        3. There can be only one Owner for a portal
