Appearing in the Advisor Pool
Why an advisor may not be listed.
An advisor appears in the founder-facing directory only when all of the following are true:
- They hold the Advisor role in the portal.
- They have an advisory profile on file.
- Accepting New Matches is turned on in their Preferences.
A well-completed profile — tagline, bio, core expertise, stage focus, and industry expertise — also makes you far easier for the right founder to choose.
Please note: If you hold the Advisor role but founders cannot find you, open the Preferences tab, fill in at least your tagline and bio, confirm Accepting New Matches is on, and select Save Profile. The hub banner reminds you of this while the profile is incomplete.
