Confirming a Session
Verify that a meeting happened.
When a session is created, the creator's own attendance is confirmed automatically. Only the other party needs to confirm.
- Open the Sessions tab in your Advisory hub.
- Find the session awaiting your confirmation.
- Select Confirm in its Actions column.
Select View on a session to open Session Details, which shows the Session ID such as SESS-0066, the full date and time, the duration, both parties, the status, the topics, any shared notes, and a Confirmation block reading Advisor confirmed and Founder confirmed with Yes or No against each, so you can see exactly what is outstanding. A Dispute section at the bottom holds Flag an Issue.
On the workspace Overview tab, a Session Status card summarises the same thing — for example “Gerardo The Amazing logged a session on Sep 5 · 60 min” followed by the topics and “Waiting on Founder to confirm”, with a Flag Issue button beside it.
Please note: An unconfirmed session does not count. It leaves Last Session as Never, does not raise the match's session total, and does not improve match health. Only the hub's Sessions This Month figure moves straight away, so do not read that metric as proof the record is complete.
While any session on the match is outstanding, a Confirm Session action with a count appears in the workspace Quick Actions. It is a shortcut that opens the Sessions tab rather than a button that confirms anything, and it disappears once nothing is outstanding.
Please note: That shortcut also appears for the party who has already confirmed — the creator is confirmed automatically — so seeing it does not mean you owe a confirmation. Check the Confirmation block in Session Details to see who does.
