Confirming and Rating a Session

Close the loop after a meeting.

A session recorded by one party has to be confirmed by the other. Whoever created it is confirmed automatically, so if your advisor logged the meeting, the confirmation is owed by you.

Where to find it

  • The Session Status card on the workspace Overview tab, which reads for example “[advisor] logged a session on Sep 5 · 60 min” followed by the topics and “Waiting on Founder to confirm”.
  • The Sessions tab of the workspace or of the Advisory hub, where the session shows a status of Awaiting Confirmation.

Confirming it

There are two places to confirm, and both do the same thing:

  • The Session Status card on the workspace Overview tab has a Confirm button beside Flag Issue.
  • Session Details, reached with View from either Sessions tab, has a Confirm Session button.
  1. Open the session with View and check the date, duration, topics and shared notes against what you remember.
  2. Read the Confirmation block, which lists Advisor confirmed and Founder confirmed with Yes or No against each.
  3. Select Confirm Session.

Confirming takes effect immediately, with no further prompt. The status changes to Confirmed, the match's session count goes up, Last Session starts showing how long ago you met, Sessions Completed in the hub reflects it, and the Recent Activity feed records that the session was confirmed by both parties.

Rating it

Rating only becomes available once both parties have confirmed, and the Rate action lives in one place only.

Please note: Rate is in the Sessions tab of the Advisory hub, in the Actions column. It is not in the workspace and not in Session Details.

  1. Open the Advisory hub and go to the Sessions tab.
  2. Select Rate on the confirmed session.
  3. Answer “How was your session with [advisor]?” by choosing one to five stars.
  4. Select Submit Rating.

Submit Rating stays disabled until you pick a star, and there is no comment box — the star rating is the whole of the feedback. Your score then shows in the Your Rating column as, for example, 4.0/5, and the Rate action disappears, so you get one rating per session.

Your rating feeds the average satisfaction your advisor and your portal administrators see.

Please note: Confirmation is what makes a session count. An unconfirmed session leaves Last Session reading Never and does not move the match's session total or its health, so confirm promptly.

Please note: If a session you did not attend appears on your list, do not confirm it. Open it and use Flag an Issue under the Dispute heading, which marks the record as disputed for an administrator to review.
