Exit Readiness Score

Assess how prepared you are for an exit.

The Exit Readiness Score is a guided questionnaire of ten questions that scores how prepared your company is for an acquisition or other exit.

  1. Open the tool and read Question 1 of 10.
  2. Choose the option that best describes your situation — each question offers four.
  3. Use Next and Previous to move through the questionnaire.

Each question shows the points it carries, for example “Weight: 5 points,” so you can see which factors matter most. Questions cover areas such as where the business is based, timeline, scale, revenue, profitability, valuation expectations, owner dependence, and documentation.

Please note: The weights tell you where to focus: a low score on a heavily weighted question is the most valuable thing to fix.
