How Modules Affect the Sidebar
Why members see different navigation.
What a member sees in the sidebar is the combination of two things: their role, and which modules are enabled for the portal.
For example, founders typically see Tools and Capital while advisors do not, and administrators typically see Programs while founders may not.
Please note: When a member reports a missing feature, check their role first. If the module simply is not enabled for your portal, contact the Startup Science support team and we can enable it for you.
