Opening Ping
Use Ping as a side panel or a full page.
Select the Ping icon in the header to open the messaging panel next to whatever you are working on. This is useful for quick replies without losing your place.
For longer conversations, open the full Messages page, which gives you the conversation list and message view side by side.
