Ping Overview
Real-time messaging built into the platform.
Ping is the built-in messaging system. It supports direct conversations, group chats, threaded replies, mentions, reactions, file attachments, and rich text.
Where to find it
Select the Ping icon in the header. The Messages page shows your conversation list on the left and the selected conversation on the right.
Getting around
- Chats and Mentions tabs.
- Active and Archived filters.
- A search control for finding messages.
- A + button to start a new message or announcement.
Each conversation in the list shows the participants, a preview of the last message, and when it was sent.
