Requesting Changes Beyond Your Access
What to do when a setting is not in Manage Portal.
The Manage Portal page covers your portal's identity: signup link, name, logo, slogan, and colors. Anything outside that is handled at a higher level of access.
Changes that a Portal Manager cannot make include:
- Enabling a feature module, which controls what appears in members' sidebars.
- Publishing portal Terms & Conditions, where that section is not available to you.
These are things we can set up for you. Contact the Startup Science support team with your portal name and what you need, and we will enable it.
Please note: Because module changes alter what every member sees in the sidebar, it is worth requesting them before a cohort starts rather than mid-program.
