The Application Pipeline
The stages an application moves through.
Applications move through a Selection Pipeline that you configure per program, in the Settings & Rubric step of the program's Settings. The default seven stages are:
- Submitted — received and awaiting review.
- In Review — being assessed.
- Shortlisted — marked as a strong candidate.
- Interview — invited to a conversation.
- Waitlisted — held pending capacity or a later decision.
- Accepted — offered a place.
- Rejected — not proceeding.
Which stages you can turn off
Each stage has an Active toggle, but not all of them can be changed:
- Submitted, Accepted, and Rejected are Mandatory System Stages. Their toggles are locked on.
- In Review, Shortlisted, Interview, and Waitlisted are Optional Stages. Turn off any your process does not use so the board stays readable.
Each column on the Applications board shows a count, so you can see where applicants are concentrated.
