The Preferences Tab
Control your availability and visibility.
The Preferences tab holds Your Advisory Profile — the information that helps founders find and connect with you.
Profile
- Tagline — a short line describing what you offer.
- Bio — a fuller description of your background.
- Core Expertise — up to five areas.
- Stage Focus — which startup stages you prefer to advise: Idea, Validation, MVP, Growth, or Scale.
- Industry Expertise — the sectors you know.
Availability
- Accepting New Matches — shows your profile in the advisor directory for founders to find.
- Max Active Matches — your soft capacity limit. Leave it blank for no limit.
Select Save Profile to apply your changes.
The Edit Profile button on the discoverability banner at the top of the hub opens this same tab — there is no separate advisor profile page.
Please note: Turning off Accepting New Matches removes you from the founder-facing directory without ending your existing relationships.
