Understanding Activity Priority and Status
How urgency and progress are tracked.
Every activity carries a priority and a status. Both are shown as their own columns in the activity list, both can be sorted, and both have a filter above the table.
Priority
Priority tells the recipient how urgent the work is. The values are Urgent, High, Medium, and Low.
Status
Status reflects where the activity stands. The values are:
- New — the activity has been created and not started.
- In-Progress — work is underway.
- Completed — the work is finished.
- Canceled — the activity is no longer required.
- Blocked — progress has stopped and something needs resolving.
- Archived — kept for the record and out of the active list.
Each status is shown with a coloured dot in the list so you can scan a long table quickly.
Please note: There is no separate per-step submit action on an activity. Progress is tracked through the activity's status, its discussion threads, and its uploads.
Status is not edited in place. To change it you open the activity for editing and save the whole activity — see Changing an Activity's Status.
