Why an Application Form Locks
Forms cannot change after submissions arrive.
Once one or more applications have been submitted, the application form can no longer be changed. The form builder shows a notice explaining this.
This protects the integrity of the data, since changing questions midway would leave earlier applicants answering a different form.
What to do instead
- Test your form thoroughly before publishing.
- Collect any missing information by contacting applicants directly.
- Adjust the form for the next intake rather than the current one.
