Assigning a Mentor or Investor to a Founder

Portal Administrators can assign a Mentor or Investor to one or more Founders. Assigned Mentors & Investors can view their Founders' Company Profiles.

1. Ensure you're logged in as a Manager or Owner
2. You must have at least one member in your portal with the Mentor or Investor role to be able to assign a Mentor or Investor (respectively) to a Founder.
3. To assign one or more Mentor or Investor to a single Founder:
   1. Find the Founder on your table
   2. Click the Details icon on the left side of that Founder's row
   3. Click on  "Manage Mentors" or "Manage Investors" (based on what you'd like to assign)
   4. Check the box next to Mentors or Investors you want to assign to the Founder
   5. Uncheck the box next to Mentors or Investors you want to remove from a Founder
   6. Click outside the dropdown to save automatically save all selections
      
      
4. Assigned Mentors & Investors will receive an email notifying them of their assignment to the Founder
5. Founders will receive an email notifying them of their newly assigned Mentor(s) or Investor(s)
6. Mentors can view their assigned Founders on the “My Mentees” table.
7. Investors can view their assigned Founders on their “My Portfolio” table.
